It began with a tub of tallow at a farmers market.
PrimalPantry started life at farmers markets in Christchurch, New Zealand, selling bone broth. Then a customer told us she'd been using our tallow — the rendered fat — to soothe her dry, eczema-prone hands. That one tub changed everything: tallow became the heart of what we do.
From a market stall to a movement.
Word spread fast. What began as a market stall grew into an online operation serving customers far beyond Christchurch, with our story featured in The Press and on Stuff. Today over 100,000 customers have tried our tallow skincare.
We tried retail. Then we chose you.
At our peak we were stocked in over 125 retail stores. Then we made a deliberate choice to go online-exclusive and deal with you directly.
